I am wading into The Black Swan, Nassim Taleb's follow up to Fooled By Randomness.
Fifty pages in, and the jury is still out on whether Taleb is a genius, a deluded idiot, bat-shit crazy, or a little of all three.
Still, by the standard of philosophical/epistemological works, it's a fucking roller coaster ride.
