CE Pro's Steve Crowe reports that Samsung is shaking up thier divisions and divesting themselves of some upper execs.
According to the report, Samsung's semiconductor and LCDs will fall under the "parts" division, while TVs, mobile phones and other electronics will fall under the "products" division.Lee Yoon-woo will reportedly remain CEO and oversee the "parts" division. Choi Gee-sung, head of the telecommunications business, will lead the "products" division.
I've got nothing germane to mention here, except that I held a bitter, years-long grudge against Samsung over some hardwar.e issues. I'm over it now, they've managed to re-earn my trust.
