In a continuing effort to help put the high definition "format war" to bed, LG on Wednesday launched the BH200 second-generation version of its Super Blu dual-format HD disc player at the 2007 CEDIA Expo.

The BH200 player will begin shipping in mid-October at an MSRP of $999.
According to my retail connections, the last-gen LG dual-format player was similar to the other HD-DVD and Blu-ray players in that it didn't exactly fly off store shelves.
The only way the format war will be "put to bed" is if somebody manages to actually convince consumers that they actually want a new format.
