China blocks Lee Distad's Professional Opinion!

At least, according to Great Firewall of China.org, a freedom of speech site that reports on Chinese internet liberties.

Given how often I've ranted about China's manufacturing shortcomings, it's nice to know that someone there was listening.

With all due respect, honor and deference to you Lee, if Beijing is going to get into a snit over your blog I'd love to see what they'd do over someone with a serious constituency - like let's say - the world media. As an interesting note a couple of Chinese ne'er-do-wells were caught spying on the Danish soccer team who were at a tournament in China this week. Freakin' tip 'o' the iceberg if you ask me.

Seems to me brining the world to China for the Olympics and thus exposing the world's most highly advanced fascist xenophobes to EVERYBODY has all the messy explosive potential power of a Mento mint the size of Texas being dropped into the Hudson Bay.

Will I be watching the Olympics? Try to keep me away!

Stay tuned sports fans - things are just getting warmed up.

*D'ya think this comment will hurt your chances of like, EVER being allowed inside Chinese cyberspace again in this millennium? Actually, my money is on the Chinese hackers beating a virtual path to your door just to tick off their "nanny-state" overlords. Rebellion - it's just a locked door away anywhere in the world.*

Freedom for Chinese cyberspace now!

Sorry Lee. In my previous comment I forgot to mention that for the perfect effect the Hudson Bay should be filled with Diet Coke.

Yeesh! I'm slippin'.

Yours in abject embarrassment and humility.

I typed in several Web addresses (for our magazines as well as the Marketnews blog) and they were ALL blocked. Looks like they block anything and everything. I'm not sure how accurate that site is.
