Tasca, Ill. —
Body Glove Technology Accessories, a division of Fellowes, announced the launch of its newest case for the fifth-generation iPods. The case features a kickstand is designed to fit the 30GB, 60GB and 80GB iPods and provide hands-free viewing.
The kickstand is built into a belt clip, and the case also features a removable knob, allowing it to lay flat when the clip is not in use.
Constructed of the company’s Ion material, a synthetic fabric that conforms to the shape of the iPod for a glove-like fit, the water-resistant case includes custom cutouts for access to ports, buttons and the iPod click wheel. The case carries a suggested retail of $19.64.

This is newsworthy not because the product is especially cool or innovative. No, this is news because I had absolutely no idea that the Body Glove brand still exists! Is it 1987 again? Can I bleach my hair for old times sake? I think I still have a couple of Samantha Fox albums on vinyl boxed up in the crawlspace.

Let me know when acid-washed jeans make a comeback, so I can arrange to have myself cryogenically frozen until they go out of fashion again.
