It has come to my attention that API, maker of Mirage, Energy, and Athena will be placing their Energy line in Future Shop stores coast to coast this summer. Future Shop had previously stocked the lower end Athena line.
Formerly the domain of specialty boutiques, and regional chains like A&B Sound and AV Unlimited, Energy's debut in a big box national chain (and subsidiary banner of Best Buy) represents a huge breakthrough in their North American distribution, and Lee Distad's Professional Opinion wishes them the best.
API was in the news last August when they were purchased by Klipsch Group.
