And you thought people couldn't put down their Blackberries!

I have almost entirely ignored the barrage of iPod docking stations on the market. Over the past year Bose, Mirage, JBL, and dozens of others have released amplified speaker stations that you can dock your iPod on and get bigger sound than just through the headphones.

But this, this bears commenting on:

If this doesn't represent the apex of iPod's ubiquity, I don't know what does. Does anybody remember when Apple was a computer company?

If in fact the iCarta "Stereo Dock for iPod® with Bath Tissue Holder" isn't the iPodiverse Jumping the Shark, then I humbly submit my new invention for you to consider capitalizing:
